Welcome to the 21st ECOG Conference, 8-10. September, 2011 in Pécs!On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the European Childhood Obesity Group (ECOG) Board, it's my greatest pleasure to invite you to the 21th Workshop of ECOG which will be held on 8-10 September, 2011 in Pécs, Hungary.
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It will be the third time to meet here, and the fundamental thought of ECOG is still highly relevant, to bring together childhood obesity experts, specialists and researchers from accross Europe and beyond.
The Organizing and Scientific Committees are currently developing an attractive programme with the goal being an exchange of ideas on current and future issues related to childhood obesity. It will be also the 1st European Congress of Childhood Obesity which will provide us a forum to share experiences, refresh our knowledge and to broaden personal contacts and friendships among colleagues from different countries of Europe and the world.
The city of Pécs was the European Capital of Culture in 2010 and it is a part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage with unique culture and arts.
I hope that the combination of content, Hungarian hospitality and the beauty of the host city will make our Congress an inspiring and memorable meeting.
